Social Responsibility at the Core<br />
Doing your <strong>MBA</strong> at <strong>Mannheim</strong> Business School involves far more<br />
than taking classes in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance<br />
or Supply Chain Management. Business ethics and social responsibility<br />
have always been core elements of our school’s educational<br />
concept. That is why the Social Sustainability Project is an<br />
integral and mandatory part of the <strong>Mannheim</strong> <strong>MBA</strong> curriculum.<br />
Innovative Projects<br />
The project should make a positive contribution to society on<br />
some level. However, it is up to each class to define the scope of<br />
the project, as it may pursue any number of goals: educational,<br />
promotional, humanitarian or social. The Social Sustainability<br />
Project puts your management abilities to the test and allows you<br />
to make a difference in the community. Past projects range from<br />
art workshops for children treated at University Hospital <strong>Mannheim</strong><br />
over introductory internet classes for senior citizens to a<br />
charity concert.<br />
