First Reading (Proclaimed in Spanish) Isaiah 55: 1-11
Thus says the Lord:
All you who are thirsty,
come to the water!
You who have no money,
come, buy grain and eat;
come, buy grain without money,
wine and milk without cost!
Why spend your money for what is not bread;
your wages for what does not satisfy
Only listen to me, and you shall eat well,
you shall delight in rich fare.
Pay attention and come to me;
listen, that you may have life.

Gospel (Proclaimed in English and Spanish) Matthew 4: 18-22
As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two
brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother
Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.
He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you
fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed
him. He walked along from there and saw two other
brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending
their nets. He called them, and immediately they left their
boat and their father and followed him.

Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Una vez que Jesús caminaba por la ribera del mar de
Galilea, vio a dos hermanos, Simón, llamado después
Pedro, y Andrés, los cuales estaban echando las redes al

A Note of Thanks
We would like to thank all who have made this day possible through your kindness, openness, support
and love.
Our formation directors who have challenged and guided us through this process and continue to be
brothers to us in this life of fraternity.
The ministries we have been involved with and continue to minister in have given us courage and
strength through your generosity and kindness to us on this journey. We have been blessed with your
presence in our lives and we are continually humbled by the depth of your faithfulness and love.
To our families, in Peru, Canada and the adoptive families we have encountered on our journeys.
Although many were unable to be here today, your spirit, love and support is felt each and every day
of our lives. We would not be here today without the gift of your presence. We will always be grateful
and will always hold you in our hearts.
To our brothers of Holy Name Province, you have opened your hearts and lives to us, adopting us
into your family, hopefully adding a little Peruvian and Canadian flare along the way. As Francis said,
“The Lord gave me brothers…” and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the grace of
fraternity and friendship which you have embraced us.
To all who have made this day possible through your gifts of music, especially Meredith Augustin
and the instrumentalists, cantors and the choir. Your music and voices certainly added to the joy of
the celebration. To Tim Shreenan, O.F.M., our Master of Ceremonies who developed the programs,
you assisted us well. For those who have prepared the reception, to Andrew Reitz O.F.M., the pastor
of St. Francis and to the friars and staff, your generosity of time, talent and spirit will always be
remembered.
May God bless you all with peace.

Con Agradecimiento
Queremos agradecerles a todos aquellos que hicieron posible este día especialmente por su camaradería,
participación, apoyo y sobre todo su amor.
A nuestros directores de formación quienes nos ha guiado y retado a través de este proceso y quienes
continúan siendo nuestros hermanos en esta vida de fraternidad franciscana.
A los distintos ministerios en los cuales hemos participado y seguimos participando pues nos han
dado en este camino coraje y fortaleza a través de su fe y su generosidad. Ha sido una bendición el
contar con su presencia en nuestras vidas y con profunda humildad reconocemos la importancia de
su amor y fidelidad.
A nuestras familias en Perú y Canadá y todas aquellas familias que a lo largo del camino nos han
adoptado. Aunque muchos no pudieron estar presentes el día de hoy, su espíritu, amor y apoyo se
puede sentir hoy y cada día de nuestras vidas. No estaríamos aquí si no fuera por el generoso regalo
de su presencia. Estaremos eternamente agradecidos y tendrán siempre un lugar privilegiado en
nuestros corazones.
A nuestros hermanos de la Provincia del Santísimo Nombre de Jesús quienes nos abrieron sus corazones
y sus vidas, tomándonos en el regazo de su familia, aportando quizá un poquito de sabor
Canadiense y Peruano a nuestras comunidades. Como ya lo dijo San Francisco “El Señor me dio
hermanos …” y les agradecemos verdaderamente por la gracia de la fraternidad y amistad que nos
han demostrado a lo largo de esto años.
A todos aquellos que hicieron posible este hermoso día, especialmente a Meredith Augustin por el
maravilloso acompañamiento musical; a los miembros del coro, cantantes y músicos. La música ofrecida
el día de hoy y, sin lugar a duda, sus voces incrementaron el gozo de esta celebración. Al Hermano
Tim Shreenan, O.F.M., nuestro Maestro de Ceremonias, y a todos los que participaron en la
elaboración de este programa, Gracias! Asimismo aquellos que organizaron la recepción, al Hermano
