Dear Parents:
It is hard to believe that this school year is nearing its end. I hope you agree it has been an exciting year! I want you
to know that I value each family and child that is a part of the Hudsonville Christian School community and I look
forward to partnering with you again next year.
I am very thankful for your investment in your child‟s education at Hudsonville Christian and I realize the commitment
you make when you send your child here. I realize, too, for some of you it might be quite a challenge to be able to
afford a Christian education and I want you to know we are here to partner with you in that commitment.
If you are unable to pay your tuition in full, we welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss alternate
options.
Enrollment materials for the 2011-2012 school year are enclosed. Please complete the forms and return them to
Hudsonville Christian by Friday, May 27, 2011. We really appreciate your cooperation in getting this information back
in a timely manner.
If you have applied for tuition assistance through FACTS, you should have already received a letter. If you have any
questions concerning any of this, please do not hesitate to call.

2011-2012 ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Enrollment Form
The enrollment form has been filled in with information we have on record at Hudsonville Christian School. This includes child‟s
name, birth date, and grade, along with parents‟ employment information and emergency contact information. Please check this
information carefully and make any necessary changes.
Actual Cost of Tuition
You may have noticed on the enrollment form for this year that we have two columns for tuition: the “Actual Tuition Cost”
and “Required Tuition Cost”. We are asking that parents pay the “Required Tuition Cost”; however, if you feel so blessed,
we ask that you prayerfully consider paying the “Actual Tuition Cost” of your child‟s tuition at Hudsonville Christian.
Two Ways to Enroll
1. Enrollment by Mail
The Board encourages enrollment by mail for those families who meet the following criteria:
A. The balance of your 2010-2011 tuition paid prior to or with your 2011-2012 enrollment fee. (Note: if you are paying your
2010-2011 balance along with your enrollment fee, separate checks are appreciated.)
B. Completed enrollment forms and enrollment fee (which is part of tuition, not an additional fee) must be made prior to
or with your mail-in enrollment by Friday, May 27, 2011;
C. Specify your payment plan for 2011-2012.
D. Please note that all TRIP payments and any other credits to your account will have been posted through April 2011.
2. Enrollment in Person
You must enroll in person if the current year‟s tuition will not be paid in full by May 27, 2011. You may enroll in person if
you choose not to enroll by mail.

Additional Enrollment Information
Enrollment fee: The enrollment fee for 2011-2012 is 5% of tuition.
Required Signatures: All responsible parents or guardians must sign the enrollment form.
Payment schedule: The enrollment fee must be paid by May 27, 2011. Your first payment will be due August 10,
2011.
LATE ENROLLMENT
Please be aware that if you have not registered by May 27, and wish for your child(ren) to attend HCS next year, a late
enrollment will be accepted. However, students enrolled after May 27 may not be assigned to classes until late August when
it is likely that enrollment is complete. Therefore, families who enroll on time will receive information about which classes
their children are assigned to the first week of August. Families who enroll late will not have this information available until
the first day of school: Tuesday, August 30, 2011.
TUITION COLLECTION PROCEDURE
It is necessary to establish a firm agreement upon payments made for tuition and that families adhere to the agreed-upon
payment schedule. The Board must meet its monthly payments and therefore this necessitates each family doing the same.
The Hudsonville Christian School Board has adopted the following tuition collection policy:
A. An agreed-upon schedule for payments will be made at enrollment time.
B. Payment coupons will be printed for each family.
C. Families not meeting the agreed payment schedule will be contacted promptly to avoid late payment.
D. Delinquent accounts will be referred to the Finance Committee and Board for further action. Tuition payments must be
kept current.

ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER PROGRAM
2011-12 School Year
Now you can have your tuition payments automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account. This means no more last minute
trips to school, spending money on stamps, or remembering to mail out your payments.
Throwing out your tuition hassles helps the school, too. Electronic deposits take no manual processing and, therefore, get to the bank
quicker. By signing up for the electronic funds transfer program, you will help the school streamline the time needed to open envelopes,
record payments and take deposits to the bank. This also allows the school to earn extra interest for a few days on those deposits, which
will be reinvested in your child‟s education.
Simply fill out the attached form and return it with your enrollment form. Your first payment will take place in August so you will never have
to worry about making your tuition payment.
