Table 3 shows the performance <strong>of</strong> the eyeglass detection algorithm with two fixed<br />

thresholds (face-0.70, eyeglass –0.57) as shown in Figure 17. Correct detection when<br />

eyeglasses are worn is 86.6% <strong>and</strong> when no eyeglasses are worn is 97.1%. The parameters<br />

used in eyeglass detection are 0 .5 < α < 1. 5 , 0 .8 < β < 1. 2 , θ
