JOB MISSION / PURPOSE<br />
Provide support to the core divisions, <strong>Education</strong>, Training <strong>and</strong> Quality Assurance Division, Skills<br />
Development Division <strong>and</strong> Research, Information, Monitoring & Evaluation Division. Provide support to<br />
the Corporate Service <strong>and</strong> Finance Division.<br />
Qualifications:<br />
Three-year degree in Social Sciences or<br />
<strong>Health</strong> Sciences or <strong>Education</strong> & Training.<br />
Assessor & Moderator Qualifications<br />
Relevant Experience:<br />
<strong>Minimum</strong> of 3 years experience in training <strong>and</strong><br />
development.<br />
Competencies required High integrity <strong>and</strong> confidentiality.<br />
Ability to interact <strong>and</strong> liaise with all members<br />
of staff within the organization.<br />

SETA processes <strong>and</strong> functions.<br />
Knowledge of <strong>requirements</strong> of processing<br />
WSPs <strong>and</strong> ATRs.<br />
Knowledge of Organising Framework of<br />
Occupations (OFO).<br />
Knowledge of the National Skills Development<br />
Strategy (NSDS).<br />
Knowledge of learnerships <strong>and</strong> skills<br />
programmes <strong>and</strong> their implementation.<br />
Knowledge of the <strong>Health</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Welfare</strong> <strong>Sector</strong>.<br />
Knowledge <strong>and</strong> underst<strong>and</strong>ing of SETA<br />
processes <strong>and</strong> functions.<br />
Knowledge of Quality Assurances matters<br />
related to Learner Achievement <strong>and</strong> Provider
Accreditation.<br />
Experience in conducting workshops <strong>and</strong><br />
facilitating stakeholder meetings.<br />
Advanced computer literacy, especially in MS<br />
PowerPoint.<br />
Valid Code 8 driver’s licence <strong>and</strong> own vehicle.<br />
Key Performance Areas<br />
Facilitate the education, training <strong>and</strong> quality<br />
assurance division, skills development division<br />
<strong>and</strong> the research, information, monitoring <strong>and</strong><br />
evaluation division.<br />
Liaising <strong>and</strong> interacting with HWSETA<br />
stakeholders on all relevant matters.<br />
Execution of activities related to the HWSETA<br />
core divisions.<br />
Keep stakeholders updated regarding<br />
developments within the HWSETA<br />
environment.<br />
Advise stakeholders on submission of<br />
Workplace Skills Plans <strong>and</strong> Annual Training<br />
Reports.<br />
Advise stakeholders on how to participate in<br />
the levy-grant system.<br />
Advise stakeholders on ETQA functions <strong>and</strong><br />
compliance <strong>requirements</strong>.<br />
Monitor, evaluate <strong>and</strong> report on stakeholder<br />
compliance with Memor<strong>and</strong>ums of Agreement<br />
for grants disbursed.<br />
Conduct Site validation to support<br />
implementation of learnerships.<br />
Induct learners on their rights <strong>and</strong> obligations in<br />
a learnership.<br />
Actively participate in solving stakeholder<br />
problems.<br />
Provide input <strong>and</strong> feedback regarding<br />
stakeholder needs <strong>and</strong> perceptions <strong>and</strong> ensure<br />
that stakeholder needs <strong>and</strong> queries are<br />
addressed.<br />
Plan <strong>and</strong> coordinate own activities.<br />
Work within the budget allocated for activities.<br />
Contribute to the knowledge <strong>and</strong> underst<strong>and</strong>ing<br />
of colleagues through effective information<br />
sharing.<br />
