SUNY Works Co-Op Program: Implement pilot co-op program<br />

as part of SUNY Works.<br />

Facilitate Connections Between <strong>Student</strong>s and Employers:<br />

• Aggressively pursue new employer prospects, increasing both<br />

the number of experiential opportunities for students on and<br />

off campus, as well as the number of companies recruiting<br />

on campus.<br />

• Maintain positive relationships with current employers<br />

and continue to engage partners in career education and<br />

development activities for students.<br />

Continue Career Center Research Project: Publish studies<br />

in peer reviewed journal and conduct analysis of qualitative<br />

interviews. Pursue new plans for Parent Orientation resulting<br />

from results of quantitative portion. Work with faculty partner to<br />

plan for phase III survey of students. Consider additional policy<br />

implications data may have and plan initiatives accordingly.<br />

Improve Placement Tracking: Improve on pilot project to track<br />

experiential learning from students and employers. Work with<br />

Registrar to deploy a service indicator for all students enrolled<br />

in internship courses. Create reporting plan.<br />
