Eind jaren tachtig is bij Back Stage in Amsterdam de basis gelegd voor de professionele make-up van Make-up Studio. In deze gespecialiseerde winkel voor professionele visagisten begon een klein team van make-up specialisten met het ontwikkelen van professionele make-up producten. Op het hoofdkantoor in Wormerveer (25 km buiten Amsterdam) werkt een team van professionele en gedreven medewerkers met passie aan het succes van Make-up Studio van vandaag en morgen. Door vast te houden aan wat goed is, te luisteren naar de wensen en behoeften van de professionele make-up artiesten en van daaruit te innoveren lukt het Make-up Studio de juiste trends te zetten en waar nodig te volgen. Inmiddels biedt Make-up Studio in 40 landen zowel de veeleisende professional als de moderne vrouw een zeer uitgebreid assortiment kwaliteitsproducten in een oneindig kleurenpalet met veelzijdige gebruiksmogelijkheden.
