<strong>Embroidered</strong> <strong>Candle</strong><br />
Cut a piece of tulle or organza,<br />
and heavy-weight watersoluble<br />
stabilizer, (WSS) a bit<br />
larger than your hoop. Choose<br />
tulle or organza that closely<br />
matches the color of the<br />
candle. This will help the edges<br />
of the fabric blend in well when<br />
it is glued onto the candle.<br />
Spray the WSS with a quick<br />
shot of temporary adhesive and<br />
smooth the tulle or organza on<br />
top.<br />
Flip the fabric and stabilizer<br />
over so that the stabilizer is<br />
right side up.<br />
Tulle and organza have a lot of<br />
texture, so placing the watersoluble<br />
stabilizer on top<br />
provides a smooth surface for<br />
the stitching. That helps to keep<br />
the edges of the design nice,<br />
neat, and clean.<br />
Hoop the stabilizer and tulle or<br />
organza together.<br />
