A Letter from David Simpson and Clark Harvey<br />
You hear it all <strong>the</strong> time—“We’re going green.” But what does that mean At<br />
<strong>Hospice</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Reserve</strong>, we’re making every attempt to go green with an<br />
improved paperless patient charting system, an on-line employee newsletter—even<br />
this annual report was printed in limited quantities, and also available on-line,<br />
saving countless trees and o<strong>the</strong>r natural resources.<br />
The name <strong>of</strong> this year’s annual report is “<strong>Today</strong>.” In it, we celebrate life’s daily<br />
lessons which become so much more relevant when facing a serious illness. From<br />
<strong>the</strong> teen volunteer, to <strong>the</strong> WWII veteran, you’ll find humor, gratitude and hope in<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir words. We’re also proud to share our fiscal responsibility, and <strong>the</strong> numerous<br />
awards and recognitions received over this past year.<br />
As a leader in <strong>the</strong> community, <strong>Hospice</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Reserve</strong>’s dedication to our<br />
environment will enhance our high quality care to <strong>the</strong> communities <strong>of</strong> Nor<strong>the</strong>rn<br />
