inserters will win you over with its ease of<br />
operation and reliability. The system can<br />
fold documents of various sizes to fit into<br />
C6, C6/5 and C5 envelopes.<br />
Or use the folding function alone – for<br />
instance, to produce <strong>brochure</strong>s or flyers.<br />
The series lends itself to a variety of applications<br />
– be it the daily miscellaneous mail<br />
to multi-part mass mailings. Small formats,<br />
pre-folded materials, reply cards or return<br />
envelopes can be added to letters quickly<br />
and easily.<br />
Conceived for small to moderate quantities<br />
of mail, the FPi 2000 series is remarkably<br />
quiet in operation (according to sound<br />
emission standard ISO 11203).
Versatility – from the daily mail<br />
to mass mailings<br />
The FPi 2000 series delivers an innovative design adapted to<br />
meeting your individual mailing needs. Up to three automatic feeder<br />
stations provide maximum versatility and capacity. The series<br />
consists of the FPi 2015, FPi 2020 and FPi 2025 models.<br />
FPi 2015 features one automatic A4 document station that feeds<br />
material page by page. A second automatic station feeds envelopeshaped<br />
enclosures (up to A5).<br />
FPi 2020 is equipped with two automatic A4 document stations<br />
which can be set up to feed A4 formats as well as envelopeshaped<br />
enclosures (<strong>brochure</strong>s, flyers, reply cards or envelopes).<br />
FPi 2025 consists of two automatic A4 document stations plus an<br />
enclosure feeder for assembling multi-part mailings (for example<br />
letter, flyer plus reply vehicle; up to A5).<br />
Daily mail function<br />
Each model includes a manual feed for handling the daily mail. It<br />
enables the operator to feed up to five sheets of paper (loose or<br />
stapled) by hand and add an automatically-fed enclosure, if<br />
desired.<br />
Feeder-Swap<br />
Inserters equipped with more than one document station can be<br />
set up for uninterrupted operation when processing high-volume<br />
single-item mailings with or without enclosure. When one station<br />
empties, the other station starts automatically, enabling the first to<br />
be refilled without pause.<br />
Multi-page feeds<br />
Each automatic document station can be set to feed several sheets<br />
per envelope. Feed, fold and insert up to three sheets per job, or<br />
up to five sheets when using OMR.<br />

Automatic optical mark recognition (OMR). The inserter can<br />
"read" coded marks on the documents to reliably determine the<br />
number and sequence of documents intended for a single<br />
addressee. Especially useful for mailing multi-page invoices.<br />
High-volume envelope hopper<br />
Eases the collection of finished envelopes. Time and space saving<br />
design delivers filled envelopes to an extra-large side-mounted<br />
envelope hopper.

without special training. Simply select desired functions and let the<br />
machine complete all necessary material measurements and adjustments<br />

The safest and most reliable double-feed detector in this inserter<br />
class. Performs an actual measurement of the paper's thickness,<br />
eliminating false double-feed messages that document colors and<br />
printing can produce with optical detecting sensors. The automatic<br />
double-feed detector can be turned off for specific jobs or in each<br />
individual feeder.<br />

The FPi 2000 inserters are built around a sturdy yet quiet folding<br />
mechanism that can neatly fold up to five sheets of material – in<br />
varying sizes, loose or stapled.<br />

The user-friendly control panel is another distinctive features of the<br />
FPi 2000 series of inserters. Folding and inserting functions are<br />
shown in the easy-to-read display screen and can be selected at the<br />
push of a button. Parameters for up to nine different jobs (settings<br />
for document composition, type of fold, fold location, document<br />
alignment, address location) can be saved and automatically<br />
retrieved.<br />

And in the event that a document or envelope should get stuck<br />
despite the machine's intelligent sensors, just raise the hinged lid<br />
for easy access to the inserter's interior. The jammed document<br />
can be quickly and cleanly removed undamaged.
