The Advisory Committee deferred <strong>the</strong> proposal to allow use <strong>of</strong> 2.85 Ha. <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>forest</strong> land for construction <strong>of</strong> road from Km.25 th Paddar road to Bhagna<br />
by PMGSY in Kishtwar Forest Division as lhere was no information with<br />
regard to <strong>the</strong> villages getting connected and <strong>the</strong> people to be benefitted.<br />
Moreover, since large number <strong>of</strong> trees/ saplings are involved, <strong>the</strong> committee<br />
directed <strong>the</strong> user agency and <strong>the</strong> Forest <strong>department</strong> to carry out a joint<br />
survey for realignment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> road so as to reduce <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> trees to be<br />
felled.<br />
