SPWP Scholarship
Applicants must be female, graduating from a Houston‐area high school, and must plan to
attend a Texas college or university. Scholarships are awarded based on academic standing,
financial need, extracurricular/work experience, interview and essay content. Applications are

Catholic Life Insurance All American Scholar
Applicants must be a Catholic Life Insurance member in good standing, maintain membership
during scholarship period, graduating high school senior attending
university/college/accredited trade school in the fall, have at least a 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0,
display leadership skills, be an active volunteer, complete the application, submit an essay,
submit one letter of recommendation, provide a photo suitable for publication. Executive
Officers’ and Directors’ children are not eligible. Come by the College Career Corner for an

Applicants must be graduating Sterling High School Senior entering a college, university or
junior college in the Fall of 2011 and in the top 20% of the graduating class. Come by the

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Lambda Zeta Chapter
Applicants must be female, in the top 15% of her class, be involved in extra curricular and
community service activities, demonstrate financial need in the quest for a college education,
and exhibit leadership ability. Finalists must complete a structured interview, which will be

To qualify, student must be a Texas resident, considered economically disadvantaged and
attend a Texas four‐year public college or university as a full‐time student pursuing a bachelor’s
