Eligible applicants are high school seniors who have participated in high school in any JA<br />

program with or as a volunteer, SAT/ACT score are considered. Applications are available<br />

BAER <strong>Scholarship</strong><br />

Applicants must be seeking a teaching degree with preference to BAER members. This<br />

scholarship is for use at Lee College only during Summer I & II 2011 and Fall 2011. Applications<br />

The Jackie Robinson Foundation<br />

Applicants must be a graduating minority senior, plan to attend an accredited and approved<br />

four‐year institution with the US, show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to<br />

community service, present evidence of financial need, be a US citizen, a minimum SAT score of<br />

1,000 combined on the math & critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21, and not<br />

possess a degree from a 2 or 4‐year college when applying for the scholarship. Applications are<br />

Applicants must demonstrate that they exhibit the values of Ronald Reagan: leadership, drive,<br />

integrity and citizenship. In addition to providing information regarding their academic,<br />

financial and extracurricular backgrounds, students will be required to secure a nomination<br />

from a community leader and an academic recommendation, and write a 500‐750 word essay.<br />
