MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE WBPF and ABBF: The World and Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federations are extremely proud that the 1 st Invitational Maldives Beach Games is organized by the Government of the Maldives in Male from 16 – 21 September 2011 It is great to know that 9 (nine) sports disciplines are engaged in this Games and one of them is Bodybuilding. On behalf of the WBPF and ABBF, I wish to congratulate the government of the Maldives for taking the initiative to organize such games. I am confident that it will be a great success, and I hope that by organizing such international sporting event will help the Maldives to be placed in the sporting map of the world. The people of the Maldives are warm and friendly and I am sure that Bodybuilding fraternity will enjoy the great hospitality, friendship and will receive an excellent reception and spectacular activities in the beautiful islands of the Maldives, with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. As the Secretary-General of the WBPF and ABBF and as well as the Technical Delegate for Bodybuilding, I am confident that this event will be a great success. Best wishes Paul Chua DAILY PROGRAMME FOR BODYBUILDING Arrival on 16 th September at Male International Airport 17 th September – Technical & Judges Meetings at Bandos Island – 9.00 a.m. Weigh-in at 10.30 a.m. 18 th September – Pre-judging of 55kg. – 65kg. - & 75kg. at 11.00 a.m. Finals of the above 3 (three) categories at 7 p.m. 19 th September – Pre-judging of 60kg. – 70kg. & 80kg. at 11.00 a.m. Finals of the above 3 (three) categories at 7 p.m. 20 th September – Sightseeing 21 st September – Departures
Note: The competition is open to the public free-of-charge; however, you need to make your own arrangements for hotel accommodation.
