Diploma of Communications<br />
The Diploma of Communications focuses on both theoretical and<br />
practical dimensions of communication. It provides introductory<br />
level units where students are able to gain a perspective of<br />
communications and acquire fundamental skills, which are<br />
essential for their course and career. Upon transfer to ECU,<br />
students may choose from many areas of specialisation within the<br />
Bachelor of Communications, the Bachelor of Creative Industries<br />
or the Bachelor of Contemporary Arts. Single majors may also be<br />
chosen from within the School of Communications and Arts (SCA).<br />

plus 5 elective units chosen from any Diploma program.<br />
