I chose the Mass Communications
course through PIBT because of future
job security as I believe media is the
only industry which has not been
affected by the world recession.
I chose PIBT to start my degree as I
believe it is a great place to study
and it leads to the second year of
the Bachelors degree at Edith
Cowan University.
PIBT has a very good atmosphere
to study and the Professors are very
helpful and give personal assistance to
every student in the class which helps
you to understand the concept clearly.
PIBT has helped me to understand
the university study culture and has
prepared me for my studies at ECU.
Perth is a very good place to live and
it’s listed under the world’s most livable
cities and the social life is awesome!
I hope to specialize in Advertising and
Media and one day set up my own
advertising company.

I chose the Diploma of Computing & IT
course at PIBT as I have a passion for
all things that are technology related.
I chose PIBT to start my degree as
it offers a pathway that leads into
the second year of my university
studies. PIBT also offers smaller
classes therefore allowing a
better student to lecturer ratio.
PIBT offers a great learning environment
with enthusiastic lecturers. I have also
met a lot of people from various parts
of the world, most of whom are now
friends. It would not be fair for me
to leave out the great barbeques!
I believe PIBT has prepared me for my
studies at ECU. PIBT places emphasis
on attendance and has made a
consistent effort to make the transition
to ECU as smooth as possible for me.
Outside of PIBT I spend my time
exploring Perth and enjoying new
experiences with my friends.
When I finish my studies I hope
to work for a reputable vendor
of computer software.

I chose the Diploma of Science (Nursing)
course at PIBT because I am very
interested in learning about health
and I want to be able to take care of
other people. PIBT offered the shortest
course into second year university.
I liked all the facilities at PIBT especially
the computer labs as there is a lot
of computers for students to use, the
library has thousands of books and
the cafeteria has many kinds of foods
from Asian to Western food on offer.
PIBT courses are really helpful in
preparing students for ECU. PIBT provides
some basic knowledge which is new
to international students, but it is
considered as must-know knowledge
in university. For example, many of my
friends who did not study through PIBT
have trouble with referencing when
they are doing their assignments.
Outside of PIBT I work as a volunteer
care giver in a nursing home. Sometimes
I go out with friends on weekends
trying new foods, buying new clothes
and discovering new places in Perth.
After I graduate I will become a
Registered Nurse and hope to bring a
smile to my patients and their families.
