NOTES:
Assignments will be given and graded on a regular basis; you must submit assignments at the beginning of the
class in which it is due. Late assignments will be collected IFF the teacher has not handed the assignments back
to the students. Any other assignment inquiries are to be dealt with at the discretion of the teacher.
Lates/Leaving the room will be tolerated on an as needed basis. There is a sign out binder at the front of the
room which will track all times you are not in the class when you are in attendance. After any combination fo 5
lates or 5 leaves, you will serve a 20 minute detention. Every additional detention assigned will add an additional
5 minutes to the previous detention up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
ABSENCES: You are responsible for all missed work. If absent, a note must be provided within one week. It must
include the date of absence, a valid reason, and the signature of a parent or guardian. Unexcused missed/skipped
submissions could result in a value of zero if not dealt with accordingly.
Minor Tests will be assigned in advance and will cover the topic just completed in class. If you skip a test, you
will be given a mark of zero for that test. If you miss a test for a legitimate reason, there will be a rewrite upon
your return on your lunch period.
Classroom: Absolutely NO food will be allowed in the classroom, with the exception of water in a plastic bottle.
Extra help is available during period 3 BUT you must request help.
