STATE LEVEL TOURIST GUIDE TRAINING
INSTRUCTIONS
I. Applications should be sent only by speed post / courier and the application must reach within
15 days from the date of publication in the newspaper to DIRECTOR, MANYAWAR
KANSHIRAM INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, Vikalp Khand –II , Gomti Nagar,
Lucknow-226016

All the received applications will be screened by the Screening Committee. All the applicants
who fulfill the necessary qualification shall appear in the WRITTEN TEST, which will
confined primarily to the following subjects:
a. Knowledge of Monuments - 50 marks
b. Questions on History - 50 marks
c. General Knowledge - 100 marks
III.
INTERVIEW: Those who obtain at least 40 % marks in the WRITTEN ENTRANCE
EXAMINATION, will be called for interview. Selected candidates after interview will
undergo a training programme of 09 weeks.
IV.
Any candidate who fails to complete the entire procedure as mentioned above for whatsoever
reason will not be considered for Guide Training Programme, no exception will be made in
this regard.
V. All applications must be accompanied with a BANK DRAFT of Rs.1500/- as application fee (
for SC/ST/OBC Rs 1000/- only) in favor of “MANYAWAR KANSHIRAM INSTITUTE OF
TOURISM MANAGEMENT” payable at LUCKNOW . This money is non-refundable under
any circumstances.
VI.
COURSE FEE : The selected candidates will be required to pay the course fee including
examination fee of Rs. 25000/- ( Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), which will be
submitted by a BANK DRAFT drawn in the favor of , “MANYAWAR KANSHIRAM
