5.0 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:5.1 UP <strong>Tourism</strong>, Lucknow invites tenders <strong>for</strong> “<strong>Social</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong><strong>Tourism</strong>”.5.2 All tenders strictly in the prescribed <strong>for</strong>m should be submitted be<strong>for</strong>e the date and time <strong>of</strong>submission, as specified along with this tender, duly signed and stamped, as a token <strong>of</strong>acceptance <strong>of</strong> the terms and condition <strong>of</strong> this tender.5.3 All tenders shall be either Type written or written neatly in indelible ink.5.4 Technical and Price Bids have to be submitted in separate sealed envelope. The envelopecontaining technical bid should indicate ‘Technical Bid’ and the envelope containing theprice bid should indicate ‘Price Bid’. Both the envelope should be inside another single envelope.5.5 The sealed tender envelope should be super scribed with “<strong>Social</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Uttar</strong><strong>Pradesh</strong>”5.6 Price Bid shall be opened only <strong>for</strong> those bidders who qualify in the technical bid.5.7 Each envelope should indicate bidders’ complete address.5.8 The firm will have to quote the price bid inclusive <strong>of</strong> taxes and duties if any as per the pricebid <strong>for</strong>mat enclosed in the tender <strong>for</strong>m.5.9 The EMD has to be deposited by demand draft or pay order in favour <strong>of</strong> Director General<strong>Tourism</strong>, U.P. payable at Lucknow.5.10 The Director General <strong>Tourism</strong>, U.P. shall have the right to accept or reject any or all tenderswithout assigning any reason there<strong>of</strong>.6.0 PRE-QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:6.1 The bidding firm should have qualified/certified Technocrat with working knowledge <strong>of</strong>different programming languages and a Technical degrees/Work experience. (All relevantdocuments need to be annexed)6.2 The bidding firm should have people with management diplomas/work experience. (Allrelevant documents need to be annexed)6.3 The bidding firm should have people with recognized English degrees/PhD’s to keep theblogs and status updates articulate, cogent and coherent to suffice the internationalstandards <strong>of</strong> English speaking. (All relevant documents need to be annexed)


6.4 The bidding firm should have worked on a minimum <strong>of</strong> two social media projects <strong>for</strong>Discernible clients with documents to show the same.6.5 The bidding firm should have working operations in Lucknow(U.P.) <strong>for</strong> 24*7 availability.6.6 Permanent account number (PAN).7.0 SCOPE OF WORK:7.1 Round the clock Facebook, Twitter & Orkut Page management which includes:• Creating Facebook, Orkut and Twitter pages <strong>for</strong> <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong> <strong>Tourism</strong>.• Uploading photos, videos and researched daily status updates on facebook and orkut (min5/day).• Researched daily status updates on twitter (min <strong>of</strong> 3/day)• Responding to comments and riposte <strong>of</strong> fans/followers.• Linking Facebook/orkut/twitter pages to various travel pages.• Kick starting reputation building debates and discussion on Facebook and other travel<strong>for</strong>ums/websites.• Publishing testimonies <strong>of</strong> fans/followers on various web pages, uploading photos andvideos on various online travel <strong>for</strong>ums.• Customizing Facebook and Twitter pages to suit <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong> <strong>Tourism</strong>.• Publishing recommended departmental news.• Linking to various travel twitter pages and state icons and tourism journalists to harnesstheir popularity.• SPAM filtering 24*7.• Conceptualizing and running contests on facebook promoting <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong> <strong>Tourism</strong>.• Monthly statically prepared progress reports submission.7.2 Blog/Article writing highlighting travel destinations minimum <strong>of</strong> 2/month.7.3 Conceptualizing, visualizing and executing online campaigns a minimum <strong>of</strong> one campaign pertwo months:• Incorporating ongoing strategies and campaigns into the Online medium.


7.4 Developing facebook applications to promote and bolster <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong> tourism a minimum<strong>of</strong> 2/year.7.5 U.P. <strong>Tourism</strong>/Taj Mahal website link.8.0 TERMS AND CONDITIONS:8.1 The firm under agreement will be available <strong>for</strong> summoning when required by the <strong>Uttar</strong> <strong>Pradesh</strong><strong>Tourism</strong> authorities.8.2 The firm under agreement will be liable to submit monthly progress reports.8.3 The firm under agreement can receive some in<strong>for</strong>mation to be uploaded through email or fax.8.4 The Firm under agreement shall upload the received in<strong>for</strong>mation within a span <strong>of</strong> 24 hours.8.5 It is not binding <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Tourism</strong> department that all the in<strong>for</strong>mation is made available inelectronic <strong>for</strong>mat. The firm under agreement shall have to digitise the received in<strong>for</strong>mationthrough its own man power and arrange itself the equipments used such as scanners if required<strong>for</strong> execution <strong>of</strong> work.
