Calling the Y. L. C.A.R.S. <strong>Net</strong>; Calling the Y.L.C.A.R.S. <strong>Net</strong>.<br />

This is ____________ calling the <strong>Net</strong> of the Young Ladies<br />

<strong>Cascade</strong> <strong>Amateur</strong> <strong>Radio</strong> <strong>Society</strong>. The Purpose of this <strong>Net</strong> is<br />

for radio testing preparing amateurs for emergency<br />

communications and to provide those with a common<br />

interest to meet on the air.<br />

Please follow the direction of <strong>Net</strong> Control . All stations are<br />

free to secure after check -in.<br />

This <strong>Net</strong> will accept emergency traffic at any time .<br />

Although primarily for members of the Young Ladies<br />

<strong>Cascade</strong> <strong>Amateur</strong> <strong>Radio</strong> <strong>Society</strong> , all amateurs are invited<br />

to check into this <strong>Net</strong>.<br />

This <strong>Net</strong> meets every Wednesday Night at 9:00 p.m. on<br />

146.700Mhz , negative offset , with PL tone of 100 Hz.<br />

<strong>Net</strong> Control tonight is ( call sign)____ My name is _______<br />

And my station location is ( Your City or District)_________.<br />

Is there any emergency traffic( Handle immediately as<br />

received .)<br />

Are there any bulletins, announcements, or events for<br />

the <strong>Net</strong> for this general membership ( Handle in order<br />

as received or listed.<br />

If there is none, but you have an announcement to share do<br />

so.<br />

location is )_________. <strong>Net</strong> Control will now call for anyone<br />

that would like to check-in on the Y. L. <strong>Net</strong> tonight. Please<br />

speak slowly and check -in with your location, call sign<br />

and name. ( After they check -in with you acknowledge<br />

who it was that checked -in. And mark it down in the<br />

spreadsheet. When finished , again repeat your call sign<br />

allow an opportunity for comments at the same time. )<br />

<strong>Net</strong> , (If none is heard , you can close the <strong>Net</strong>.)<br />

I would like to thank all check-ins to <strong>Net</strong> of the Young<br />

Ladies <strong>Cascade</strong> <strong>Amateur</strong> <strong>Radio</strong> <strong>Society</strong>, should an<br />

emergency arise , all members are requested to tune in to<br />

this frequency , 146.700 Mhz , negative offset , with a PL<br />

tone of 100Hz or 147.555 Mhz primary simplex , 147.570<br />

Mhz is the designated secondary simplex frequency for<br />

this <strong>Net</strong>.<br />
