TWEEN ITALY AND USA AT “SCUOLA GRANDE DI SAN ROCCO”
The Scuola Grande of San Rocco represents an important stage of Venetian art history of XVI century:
in order to decorate the major Hall of the Albergo they announced a competition which grouped together
the most renowned painters active in Venice in those times: Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese, Federico Zuccari,
Giuseppe Salviati, Andrea Schiavone. Tintoretto was the winner!

H. 12:30 PM SEATED BUFFET LUNCH AT
SCUOLA GRANDE DI SAN ROCCO
Lunch will be served inside “Scuola Grande di San Rocco” at the end of the
ceremony. Catering: “Dall’ Amelia” Restaurant, from Mestre (restaurant de la
Chaîne des Rôtisseurs). Traditional cuisine of Veneto.
At the end of the lunch, at about 2:30 pm, you could leave from here, following
our assistant to P.le Roma, to join the afternoon excursion by boat (TOUR N.4),
leaving at 3:00 pm.
