Assembly instructions: Cutting ring holders for through hole machining<br />

Greasing before assembly:<br />
Grease conical ring and I.D. cone of cutting ring <br />
on Ø 3.150 inch (80 mm) or larger.<br />
light grease <br />
No grease and must be free of debris & <br />

The position for the drive pins is marked with a lobe or in red.<br />
Before tightening and adjusting, rotate the cutting ring<br />
against the direction of machining until contact is made with<br />
the drive pins.<br />

Align the markings on the cutting ring holder and cutting<br />
ring, to be sure that the coolant holes are aligned with the<br />
cutting edges.<br />

Set-up the diameter utilizing the adjusting nut to the<br />
middle of the tolerance (counter-clockwise thread).<br />
The diameter can only be measured at the marked cutting<br />
edges due to unequal flute spacing! (refer to page 101)<br />
