ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME

Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wenn das Gerät abgekühlt ist,
wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3 mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
INBETRIEBNAHME
� Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie den Wassertank füllen oder
ausgießen.
� Öffnen Sie den Deckel und füllen Sie den Wassertank mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der Maximum- und Minimummarkierung, die in
dem Wassertank zu sehen ist, gefüllt wird.
� Schließen Sie den Deckel und vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.
� Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose. Die die Kontrollleuchte sollte angehen, um
anzudeuten, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
� Nach einiger Zeit beginnt das Wasser zu kochen. Es kocht, solange das Gerät unter
Spannung ist und solange das Heizelement mit Wasser bedeckt ist.
� Falls das Gerät ohne Wasser in Betrieb ist, wird es sich automatisch ausschalten. Das ist
normal, weil das Gerät mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der dafür sorgt, dass
sich das Gerät ausschaltet, wenn kein Wasser mehr im Kocher ist. (siehe nächsten Absatz).
TROCKENGEHSCHUTZ
� Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät
abschaltet, wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
� Falls dies vorkommt, bitte den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen. Warten Sie ca. 10
Minuten und gießen Sie kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher. Dies reicht, um den
Überhitzungsschutz auszuschalten. Sollte das Problem andauern, wenden Sie sich bitte an
den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
� Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
� Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden.
� Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
� Den Wasserkocher oder den Sockel niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter
fließendem Wasser reinigen.

� Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
� Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
� Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or
incompetent persons.
� Connect your appliance only to a wall-earthed socket.
� From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or
appliance shows any signs of damage.
� Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

� Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that evaporates when the water is boiling
and especially when you open the lid.

UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).

BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION

For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
� Always unplug the appliance before filling it or before any operation.
� Raise the lid and fill the tank with fresh water paying attention not to fill under the minimum
mark and above the maximum mark in the kettle.
� Close the lid. Make sure it closes correctly.
� Plug in the appliance. Check that the pilot light comes on indicating that the appliance is
operating.
� The water will keep boiling as long as the appliance is switched and as long as the heating
element will be covered with water.
� If the appliance is being operated whilst empty, the boil-dry protection will switch it off
automatically to avoid overheating (see next paragraph).
� You can stop your jug kettle whenever you want, simply by unplugging it. Please read the
safeguards in the first paragraph (how to operate, lid opening, etc.).
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
� This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device if accidentally switched on
without water.
� In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool.
Then fill the jug kettle with cold water. This will reset the safety device.
� The kettle may then be used as normal.
� Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
� Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
� To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
� Never use abrasive products
� On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
DESCALING
To remove scale from the jug kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose.
Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles.

bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante peut être éjectée.
� Veillez à ce que pendant le fonctionnement, le couvercle soit correctement fermé. Ne
soulevez le couvercle que lorsque la bouilloire s’est arrêtée et qu’il n’y a plus de risque de
projection d’eau due au bouillonnement.
� Attention de ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur qui s’échappe lors de l’ébullition et
spécialement lors de l’ouverture du couvercle.
� L’appareil doit obligatoirement être refroidi avant de le nettoyer, de le ranger ou de le
remplir de nouveau.

Il est nécessaire de rincer votre bouilloire avant sa première utilisation. Pour cela, remplissez-la
au préalable avec de l’eau froide et mettez-la en fonctionnement. Une fois l’eau arrivée à
ébullition, videz la bouilloire, laissez-la refroidir, rincez-la et ensuite répétez l’opération 2 à 3 fois,
en veillant à remplir la bouilloire exclusivement avec de l’eau claire.
UTILISATION
� Débranchez toujours la bouilloire avant de la remplir ou pour toute autre manipulation.
� Soulevez le couvercle et remplissez le réservoir d’eau froide en prenant garde de toujours
vous situer entre les deux repères de niveau "MIN" et "MAX" inscrits.
� Refermez le couvercle et assurez-vous qu’il est correctement fixé.
� Branchez l‘appareil et vérifiez que le témoin lumineux s‘allume vous indiquant une mise
sous tension correcte.
� L’eau continuera à bouillir tant que votre appareil sera sous tension et tant que l’élément
chauffant sera recouvert d’eau.
� Un dispositif de sécurité arrêtera la bouilloire en cas de fonctionnement à vide ( voir le
paragraphe suivant).
� Vous pouvez arrêter votre bouilloire à tout moment, simplement en la débranchant et
vous servir en respectant les consignes de sécurité listées dans le premier paragraphe (
manipulation, ouverture du couvercle, etc…)
FONCTIONNEMENT A VIDE
� Cette bouilloire est équipée d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,
accidentellement.
� Si cela arrive, débranchez l’appareil. Attendez 10 minutes avant de le remplir d’eau
froide. Cela suffit pour désactiver le dispositif de protection. Si le problème persiste,
adressez-vous au service après-vente le plus proche.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
� Toujours débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
� Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Utiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
� Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
� Ne jamais plonger la bouilloire ou son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
DETARTRAGE
Pour le détartrage de votre bouilloire, utilisez des produits spécifiques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et suivez les consignes indiquées sur leurs emballages.

� Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer
nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
� Het is aanbevolen geen verlengssnoer te gebruiken om het toestel aan een stopcontact
te verbinden, want langer zal de snoer zijn, groter zullen de val van risico’s tijdens het
gebruik zijn.
� Zet het toestel op een stabiel oppervlak.
� Trek altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u de waterkoker vult.
� Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker gevuld wordt tussen het minimum- en maximumpeil.
Controleer steeds dat het water niet onder het minimumpeil is, vermits dit beschadiging
van het verwarmingselement kan veroorzaken. Overschrijd nooit het maximumpeil want
als uw waterkoker te vol gevuld is, bestaat er gevaar voor overkoken (brandwonden).
� Tijdens de werking van het toestel dient het deksel correct gesloten te zijn. Til het deksel op
alleen wanneer de waterkoker gestopt had of wanneer er geen risico’s van spatting van
kokende water zijn.
� Let erop dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die tijdens het koken ontsnapt en vooral
wanneer u het deksel opent.
(*) Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die erkend
en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve
het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.

Vóór de eerste ingebruikneming is het noodzakelijk de waterkoker te spoelen. Vul daarvoor het
apparaat met koud water. Overschrijd nooit de max-markering van het waterreservoir. Sluit het
deksel en steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Wacht tot het water kookt, ledig de waterkoker,
laat hem afkoelen, spoel hem na en herhaal alle handelingen minstens 3 maal. Opgelet, enkel
water in de waterkoker gieten.
GEBRUIK
� Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u de waterkoker vult of uitgiet.
� Til het deksel op en vul de watertank met koud water. Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker
gevuld wordt tussen het minimum- en maximumpeil dat op de waterkoker is aangeduid.
� Sluit het deksel en zorg ervoor dat het correct gesloten is.
� Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en controleer of het controlelampje brandt, wat een
goede aansluiting van het toestel betekent.
� Het water blijft koken zolang het toestel onder spanning staat en zolang het
verwarmingselement onder water staat.
� Indien het toestel zonder water in werking is, zal het zich automatisch uitschakelen. Dit is
normaal want uw toestel is met een beveiligingssysteem tegen "droogkoken" uitgerust dat
het toestel uitschakelt zodra het leeg in werking is.
� U kunt uw waterkoker altijd uitschakelen. Daarvoor moet u de stekker uit het stopcontact
halen. Lees de veiligheidsvoorschriften in de eerste alinea (manipulatie, opening van het
deksel, enz.).
DROOGKOKEN
� Het apparaat is beveiligd tegen oververhitting en schakelt zich automatisch uit, mocht
het zonder water ingeschakeld worden of wanneer het waterpeil te laag is.
� Indien dit gebeurt, de stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen en het apparaat 10 minuten
laten afkoelen. U kunt het apparaat dan weer gebruiken.
� Dit is genoeg om de beveiliging te stoppen. Als het probleem voortduurt, neem contact
op met de dichtstbijzijnde klantendienst.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
� Altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen en het apparaat laten afkoelen vooraleer
het te reinigen.
� De kunststofdelen met een vochtig doek reinigen. Gebruik een zachte borstel om de
kalkafzetting op de binnenwanden weg te nemen.
� Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen.
� Dompel het apparaat of de sokkel nooit in water of andere vloeistoffen.
ONTKALKEN
Voor het ontkalken van uw waterkoker gebruik slechts die producten, die hiervoor in de
vakhandel verkrijgbaar zijn. Volg de gebruiksaanwijzing van het product.

� Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de la utilización de su aparato.
� Antes de utilizar el aparato, compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica coincide con el
del aparato.
� No deje nunca su aparato sin vigilancia cuando esté en marcha. No lo deje ni al alcance
de los niños ni al de personas no responsables.
� Enchufe su aparato únicamente en un enchufe con toma de tierra.
� Compruebe de vez en cuando que el cable no esté dañado. No utilice su aparato sí el
cable o el aparato están dañados por el motivo que sea.
� Utilice el aparato solamente para usos domésticos y de la manera indicada en el modo
de empleo.
� No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni
por cualquier otra razón. No lo introduzca nunca en el lavavajillas.
� No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.
� Si el cable está dañado, debe ser reemplazado por un servicio cualificado
competente(�).
� La clavija eléctrica debe ser desenchufada antes de limpiar el aparato.
� Cualquier reparación debe ser realizada por un servicio técnico cualificado(�).
� Procure no utilizar el aparato en el exterior y colóquelo en un sitio seco.
� No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante, ello puede entrañar un riesgo
para el usuario y puede dañar el aparato.
� No mueva nunca el aparato estirando del cable. Procure que el cable no se enganche
en algún saliente, a fin de evitar posibles caídas del mismo. Evite enrollar el cable
alrededor del aparato y no lo tuerza.
� Se aconseja no utilizar una alargadera para enchufar su aparato a un enchufe mas
alejado, ya que contra más largo sea el cordón mayor será el riesgo de que el aparato
pueda caerse durante su utilización.
� Procure colocar el aparato sobre una base de trabajo estable
� Si su hervidor lleva cable fijo, desenchúfelo de la red antes de llenarlo.
� Cuando proceda al llenado compruebe que el nivel de agua se sitúa entre los niveles
mínimo y máximo. Compruebe siempre que el nivel del agua no esté por debajo del
mínimo para evitar daños al elemento calefactor.
� Durante el funcionamiento del aparato, compruebe que la tapa esté correctamente
cerrada. No destape el aparato hasta que se haya parado.
� Si coloca demasiada agua en el hervidor, puede salir agua hirviendo del mismo, sea
prudente.
� Tenga precaución de no quemarse con el vapor que produce la ebullición
� Deje enfriar el aparato antes de un nuevo rellenado o de su limpieza.

Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, eche agua y ponga el aparato en
funcionamiento.
Repita esta operación 3 veces y enjuague.
UTILIZACIÓN
� Desenchufe siempre su hervidor antes de rellenarlo o para otra manipulación.
� Deje enfriar el aparato antes de llenarlo de agua.
� Abra la tapa. Vierta agua solamente hasta la señal de máximo.
� Cierre correctamente la tapa.
� Enchufe su aparato y comprueve que el testigo luminoso se enciende , ello le indicara
que su aparato se pone en funcionamiento.
� El agua continuara a hervir mientras este enchufado y que la resistencia calórica este
cubierta de agua.
� Un dispositivo de seguridad parara el hervidor en caso de funcionamiento en vacío. ( ver
párrafo siguiente).
� Ud puede parar su aparato en cualquier momento, simplemente desenchufándolo, tras
ello puede servirse respetando todas las instrucciones de seguridad numeradas al
principio ( manipulación, abertura de la tapa, etc…)
PROTECCIÓN CONTRA SOBRECALENTAMIENTO
� Este hervidor va equipado con un sistema de protección contra sobrecalentamientos,
que para el aparato si es puesto en marcha accidentalmente sin agua en su interior.
� Si le ocurre esto, desenchufe el aparato, y espere 10 minutos antes de ponerlo de nuevo
en marcha. Ello basta para desbloquear el sistema de protección.
� El hervidor funciona de nuevo correctamente.
� Si el problema continua, diríjase al servicio post-venta mas próximo.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
� Desenchufe siempre el aparato y déjelo enfriar antes de limpiarlo.
� Limpie el aparato con un paño suave. Utilice un cepillo.
DESINCRUSTACIÓN
Desincrustar el aparato con regularidad alarga la vida de su aparato. Para ello utilice
cualquier producto que venden en el mercado para este fin y siga sus instrucciones.

� Use unicamente agua potável e fria.
� Se o aparelho tiver a base ou cordão amovível é conveniente no enchimento do
fervedor este ir separado daquelas peças.Caso o fervedor tenha o cabo fixo então retireo
sempre da tomada de onde recebe a corrente eléctrica.
� No enchimento verifique que a agua se encontra entre os níveis mínimo e máximo.
� Certifique-se que a tampa está bem fechada e nunca a abra após Ter desligado o
aparelho.
� Tenha cuidado com os salpicos de agua a ferver.Isto pode acontecer com enchimentos
acima do nível máximo.
� Quer no enchimento quer na limpeza o aparelho tem de estar desligado da tomada
onde recebe a corrente eléctrica e sempre no estado frio.

Ao utilizar o aparelho pela primeira vez encha-o 3 vecez co água potável conforme as
instruções e faça o mesmo numero de ferveras. No fim destas operações seco e limpe muito
bem o aparelho.
Volte a repetir esta operação 3 vezes, e enxague.
UTILIZAÇÃO
� Toda e qualquer operação – enchimento, limpeza, …, – tem de ser feita com o aparelho
desligado da tomada eléctrica.
� Não encha a chaleira para além do seu nivel máximo.
� Tape correctamente a chaleira com a tampa.
� Ligue o aparelho e verifique que a luz de presença se acende. Se assim suceder o
aparelho está a receber corrente eléctrica.
� A água continua a ferver enquanto o aparelho estiver ligado e a resistência estiver
coberta com água.
� Se o aparelho tiver dispositivo de segurança este desligará automaticamente.
� O aparelho pode ser desligado a qualquer momento.Para isso é suficiente ,retirar o cabo
de alimentação da tomada, e ter em atenção as instruções de utilização como as do
primeiro parágrafo (sempre que o aparelho seja deslocado para outro local, se abra a
tampa, …).
PROTECÇÃO CONTRA AQUECIMENTO EXCESSIVO
� O aparelho é incorporado com um sistema contra o aquecimento excessivo. Se tal
acontecer o aparelho deixa de funcionar.
� Para voltar a ficar operativo o aparelho tem de estar com o cabo de alimentação
desligado da tomada eléctrica cerca de 10 minutos.
LIMPEZA
� Antes de limpar ou encher o aparelho com água potável verifique se aquele está frio e
com o cabo de alimentação retirado da tomada eléctrica.
� Limpe-a com um esfregão suave, e retire os depósitos de calcário das paredes interiores.
� Não utilize produtos abrasivos.
� Nunca meta a chaleira dentro de água.
DESCALCIFICAÇÃO
Para suprimir os depósitos de calcário utilize descalcificantes apropriados seguindo as
instruções dos mesmos.

� Si consiglia di non usare prolunghe poiché può aumentare il rischio di far cadere
accidentalmente l’apparecchio qualora si inciampasse.
� Usare solo acqua potabile e fredda. Non usare acqua contenuta in lavandini o altri
recipienti.
� Posizionare l’apparecchio su un tavolo o una superficie piana e stabile affinché non
cada.
� Se viceversa il Vostro bollitore è direttamente connesso la cavo, staccare la spina prima di
riempire il contenitore.
� Riempire il bollitore facendo attenzione a che il livello dell’acqua sia tra min. e MAX.
l’acqua non deve mai essere al disotto del livello minimo perché potrebbero danneggiarsi
gli elementi riscaldanti. Non riempire la di sopra del livello massimo poiché l’acqua,
durante l’ebollizione, potrebbe fuoriuscire.
� Verificare che il coperchio sia ben chiuso durante il funzionamento. Non aprire il
coperchio quando l’apparecchio è in funzione per evitare che l’acqua calda in
ebollizione fuoriesca.
� Attenzione alle scottature che potrebbe provocare il vapore nel caso fuoriuscisse qualora
si aprisse improvvisamente il coperchio.
� Lasciare raffreddare completamente l’apparecchio prima di riempirlo di nuovo o di
pulirlo.

Per un perfetto funzionamento, utilizzare acqua fredda per pulire l’apparecchio da eventuali
residui di lavorazione. Accenderlo, farlo funzionare e, quando l’apparecchio si è
completamente raffreddato, ripetere il procedimento per tre volte prima di risciacquarlo.
FUNZIONAMENTO
� Staccare sempre l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente prima di riempirlo.
� Aprire il coperchio e riempire la caraffa facendo attenzione a non andare oltre il livello
massimo o al disotto del livello minimo.
� Chiudere bene il coperchio e inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
� Attaccare la spina alla presa di corrente. Controllare che la spia si accenda
(l’apparecchio è in funzione).
� L’acqua continuerà a bollire fino a che l’apparecchio resta acceso e l’elemento
riscaldante sarà coperto.
� Se l’apparecchio viene azionato senza acqua al suo interno, un dispositivo di sicurezza
spegnerà automaticamente l’elettrodomestico per evitare danni.
� E’ possibile spegnere il bollitore quando si vuole, semplicemente staccando la spina.
Leggere le avvertenze nella prima parte del presente manuale.
PROTEZIONE CONTRO IL SURRISCALDAMENTO
� Questo bollitore è dotato di un sistema di protezione contro il surriscaldamento che
arresta automaticamente l'apparecchio se questo viene acceso accidentalmente vuoto.
� Se si verifica questo, spegnere l'apparecchio. Attendere 10 minuti affinché tutte le parti si
raffreddino. Quindi versare acqua fredda in modo da coprire gli elementi riscaldanti.
Questa operazione è sufficiente per sbloccare il sistema di protezione. Il bollitore torna a
funzionare regolarmente.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
� Prima di procedere alla pulizia, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio non sia collegato alla presa
di corrente e che si sia completamente raffreddato.
� Per pulire le parti esterne, usare un panno leggermente umido ed asciugarle con un
panno morbido. Non utilizzare prodotti abrasivi.
� In nessun caso né la caraffa né la base devono essere immerse in acqua.
DISINCROSTAZIONE
Per rimuovere eventuali incrostazioni (calcare,…), utilizzare prodotti concepiti apposta per
questo scopo. Assicurarsi che siano prodotti compatibili con oggetti in plastica.
