Abssac on the go
It gives us a great deal of pleasure
to announce that we are expanding
our wide choice of shaft coupling
products with a brand new offering
– the SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG® range
of compact coupling systems.
This outstanding array of products
provides an excellent choice,
addressing different customer
needs for a high performance
standard item, a coupling adapted
to their particular sector, or a
solution tailored to a specific
single application.
Controlflex® – the perfect coupling
for shaft encoders, accommodating
all types of misalignment with
very low restoring forces and low
stress on the encoder bearings at
constant angular velocity.
Semiflex® – torsionally stiff,
precise and backlash-free shaft
couplings that require little axial
space, compensate misalignment
without restoring forces and
transmit torque between shafts in
instances where shaft alignment
cannot be guaranteed.
Schmidt-Kupplung® – the classic
product for extreme parallel offset,
this torsionally stiff shaft coupling
compensates variable parallel
shaft offset without side loads in a
very compact envelope.
Loewe® GK – with high axial
stiffness and multiple shaft
connections, this coupling is ideal
for torque applications requiring
resistance to axial motion, the
mix of kinematic properties
allowing much radial and angular
misalignment.
Omniflex® – offering high universal
shaft misalignment compensation
with compact dimensions, this
torsionally stiff and robust coupling
is purpose designed for maximum
torque requirements and the
toughest cycle operations.
LTi is available from
Motor Technology
Measuring just 55 x 160
x 120mm the CDF3000,
manufactured by LTi and
available in the UK from Motor
Technology, is a small, low-cost
servo drive, with the features and
functionality of a more expensive,
high-end drive.
It has excellent operational
functionality for 24 or 48V DC
supply, a robust mechanical
design concept, comprehensive
CANopen DSP 402 integration,
safe standstill in accordance
with IEC 954-1 category 3, with
integrated safety relay. It can run
synchronous, asynchronous and
DC motors and is compatible
with resolver and SSI absolute
encoder feedback.
Additional key features includes,
evaluation of two encoders,
evaluation of multi-turn encoders,
sequenced positioning tasks,
PLCmotion functionality, Camswitching
group and online
position profile generator.
According to Motor Technology’s
managing director, Andrew
Fallows, ‘The CDF3000 is a bit
like a buying a basic car but
getting the top-of-the-range-
model. It’s a small, low-cost drive
suitable for highly demanding
automation applications.’
