<strong>The</strong> OJC Religious School Board News<br />
<strong>The</strong> OJC Religious School would like to welcome our new School Board President, Staci Gelb. Staci’s<br />
connection to OJC began at birth when she was named here. She graduated from our Religious School and has<br />
been a congregant with her parents and with her own family for her entire life. Staci's parents, Zelda and Burt<br />
Heller, have been OJC members for over 40 years. Her father was president of the shul in the 1980s. Her<br />
husband, Jared Gelb, has served as our Youth Director. Staci is the mother of Louis (age 11), Samantha (age 8)<br />
(both in our school) and Brandon (age 3). Staci looks forward to meeting and working with our Religious<br />
School families.<br />
<strong>The</strong> School Board would like to thank Sharon Aach and Hara Hartman, our past School Board Presidents, for<br />
all their dedication, wisdom, and hard work guiding our school for these past four years. We are fortunate that<br />
Hara and Sharon will still serve on our School Board along with returning members Pam Berg, Marty Cohen,<br />
Ina Filip, Rosina Hirsh, and Renee Price. We would also like to thank Dawn Kitz, Miriam Schatz-Mizrahi, Kim<br />
Lori Sokol and Stacy Weiss for all they have contributed in the past years and for their help in making our<br />
school prosper. We welcome Ana Adams, Beth Fishman, Carol Jacobs, Monica Levine-Sauberman, Joni<br />
Morris, and Maddy Schiering as our new members and look forward to an exciting, productive school year.<br />
Thank you to all those families and individuals who beautified our bimah by contributing to the Bimah Flower Fund.<br />
