Brandi Abele lives and works <strong>in</strong> Vancouver, B.C. She is a parttime<br />

student at ECIAD and is currently explor<strong>in</strong>g art though the forms<br />

photography and dance.<br />

Chelsea Crooks is a Geography student at Simon Fraser University.<br />

She is currently sleep<strong>in</strong>g with one of the editors of <strong>Memewar</strong>.<br />

Ryan Flowers is an artist, musician and postman <strong>that</strong> gives it 100%<br />

<strong>in</strong> a musical group called <strong>in</strong> medias res. He is currently <strong>in</strong>vestigat<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

next evolution of humanity. He is also <strong>in</strong> search of a wife.<br />

Neal Kansay is orig<strong>in</strong>ally from the Okanagan. He has done sketch<br />

comedy, written fiction, authored essays and chopped mushrooms.<br />

Jim Knipfel is the author of “Slackjaw,” “The Buzz<strong>in</strong>g,” and some<br />

other books, too. He is presently <strong>in</strong> search of ga<strong>in</strong>ful employment.<br />

Amanda C. Lee has travelled to and from the Middle East for the<br />

past five years. She collects master’s degrees with the longest possible<br />

titles. She hopes to cont<strong>in</strong>ue her work exam<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the reproductive and<br />

sexual health behaviours of young people and is open to research<strong>in</strong>g<br />

regions with shorter names.<br />

Andrew Lee is one bad mother fucker. He studies English and Art<br />

& Culture at Simon Fraser University. He has a pet tortoise, a motorcycle,<br />

and a girlfriend. Andrew also has aspirations to change the world<br />

by play<strong>in</strong>g music <strong>in</strong> the punk rock outfit <strong>in</strong> medias res. www.imr.ca<br />

Er<strong>in</strong> Millar makes her home <strong>in</strong> the gaybourhood of Toronto,<br />

though her heart lives <strong>in</strong> Vancouver. She got her start <strong>in</strong> publish<strong>in</strong>g as<br />

the editor of the Cap Courier at Capilano College and is now the president<br />

of the Canadian University Press. Although her bachelor degree<br />

is <strong>in</strong> jazz music, Er<strong>in</strong> freelances when she can, is a columnist for Canadian<br />

Dimension magaz<strong>in</strong>e, and enjoys spicy salami and a good strong<br />

cheese.<br />

Matt Rader is the author of Miraculous Hours, a book of poems.<br />

He lives <strong>in</strong> Eugene, Oregon with his wife and daughter.<br />

Jordan Somers is N<strong>in</strong>joetry –he was Valent<strong>in</strong>o The Robot and<br />

very shortly he will return to just himself. A tad bor<strong>in</strong>g perhaps, a tad<br />

bruised, but not down for the count –just yet.<br />

Dr. David Suzuki is a scientist, broadcaster, author, and chair of<br />

the David Suzuki Foundation. He is an officer of the Order of <strong>Canada</strong><br />

and a recipient of UNESCO’s Kal<strong>in</strong>ga Prize for science, the United<br />

Nations Environment Program medal, and Global 500. Dr. Suzuki is<br />

Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia <strong>in</strong> Vancouver<br />

and holds 14 honorary degrees from universities around the world.<br />

Dr. Suzuki lives with his wife, Dr. Tara Cullis, and family <strong>in</strong> Vancouver,<br />

BC.<br />

Rob Taylor lives <strong>in</strong> Port Moody and recently released a chapbook,<br />
