Smart Sensor ultrasonic<br />

cable height meter<br />

The ultrasonic cable height meter measures<br />

the height of the highest <strong>an</strong>d lowest of up to<br />

six cables, with measuring r<strong>an</strong>ges of:<br />

3m to 23m (25-mm cable); 3m to<br />

15m (12-mm cable); 3m to 12m<br />

(5.5-mm cable); <strong>an</strong>d 3m to 10m<br />

(2.5-mm cable). Th<strong>is</strong> instrument<br />

<strong>is</strong> easy to aim <strong>an</strong>d read measurements,<br />

says the m<strong>an</strong>ufacturer, <strong>an</strong>d emits 15 short bursts of<br />

sound (the microprocessor calculates the elapsed time for the<br />

sound to be reflected back to the meter). The meter also measures<br />

the d<strong>is</strong>t<strong>an</strong>ce between wires, as well as the dimensions<br />

sensor results in higher measuring accuracies (±0.5% of<br />

reading ±2 digits). The meter records measuring conditions<br />

(i.e. location, time <strong>an</strong>d temperature), <strong>an</strong>d comes with battery,<br />

accessory bracket for horizontal measurements, pouch,<br />
