Our teens are growing up in a world that is quite different from the one we did. In the
first session of this Wednesday night Lifetime course, you will learn about Facebook,
Twitter, blogs, Youtube, Myspace and cell phones. We’ll answer questions such as:
Why do teens care so much about technology? What are the obvious and subtle
impacts technology has on the way teens live their lives? What are the implications
for parents? How can we effectively raise our technological teens? The two sessions
are stand-alones, and the material is also appropriate for parents of 5th–6th graders.
