Don’t re<strong>in</strong>vent <strong>the</strong> wheel <strong>in</strong> your education and awareness efforts. You can <strong>in</strong>clude and adapt<br />
climate change communication tools produced by o<strong>the</strong>rs <strong>in</strong>to your work. There are, for example,<br />
several videos of climate change that can be used to: a) expla<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> phenomenon of climate change;<br />
b) illustrate its effects on <strong>the</strong> environment and on communities; and c) show how some<br />
communities are respond<strong>in</strong>g (Box 4). Most of <strong>the</strong>se materials are from outside of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Caribbean</strong>, but<br />
can still be useful visual communication aids for your target audiences.<br />

• The Tobago-based Buccoo Reef Trust has produced videos on climate change and coral<br />
bleach<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Caribbean</strong> that can be viewed on <strong>the</strong>ir YouTube channel<br />

• The ProVention YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/provention has several videos<br />
of community climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. The videos tell<br />
stories from all over <strong>the</strong> world and <strong>in</strong>clude productions <strong>in</strong> English, Spanish and French.<br />
• You can f<strong>in</strong>d videos about climate change <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Caribbean</strong> produced by <strong>the</strong> International<br />
Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Sandwatch Foundation on <strong>the</strong><br />
