from <strong>the</strong> public will be allowed <strong>on</strong> all <strong>agenda</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>item</str<strong>on</strong>g>s at <strong>the</strong> time each <str<strong>on</strong>g>item</str<strong>on</strong>g> is called.<br />

Comments <strong>on</strong> public hearing <str<strong>on</strong>g>item</str<strong>on</strong>g>s may be made when <strong>the</strong> hearing is opened.<br />

PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS: Comments from <strong>the</strong> public <strong>on</strong> n<strong>on</strong><strong>agenda</strong><br />

10.1 RESOLUTION -- APPROPRIATIONS - UTILITIES OPERATION AND<br />

MAINTENANCE FACILITY<br />

This resoluti<strong>on</strong>, recommended by <strong>the</strong> Utilities and Finance Departments,<br />

authorizes <strong>the</strong> appropriati<strong>on</strong> of $94,382 from <strong>the</strong> 1990A Revenue B<strong>on</strong>d Fund<br />

0627 unappropriated balance available to ‘8724’, Local Wastewater Utilities<br />

Operati<strong>on</strong> and Maintenance Facility; and $95,939 from <strong>the</strong> 2001B Revenue<br />

B<strong>on</strong>d Fund 0678 unappropriated balance available and $33,469 from <strong>the</strong><br />

2008A Revenue B<strong>on</strong>d Fund unappropriated balance available 0618 (total of<br />

$129,408) to ‘7023’, Water Utilities Operati<strong>on</strong>s and Maintenance Facility.<br />

10.2 RESOLUTION -- NATURE EDUCATION FACILITIES PROGRAM GRANT<br />

APPLICATION FOR BAYER NEIGHBORHOOD PARK AND GARDENS<br />

This resoluti<strong>on</strong>, recommended by <strong>the</strong> Recreati<strong>on</strong>, Parks & Community<br />

Services Department, authorizes staff to submit an applicati<strong>on</strong> to <strong>the</strong> Nature<br />

Educati<strong>on</strong> Facilities Program (Propositi<strong>on</strong> 84) for development of a facility at<br />

Bayer Neighborhood Park and Gardens. The grant program does not require<br />

a match and a request not to exceed $2 milli<strong>on</strong> in funding will be made<br />

depending <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> eligible costs of <strong>the</strong> project. It is fur<strong>the</strong>r recommended that<br />

if grant funding is awarded and up<strong>on</strong> approval of <strong>the</strong> grant c<strong>on</strong>tract <strong>the</strong>
