An immediate family member of one of the above. Under whichever of these categories the Entrant qualifies, ALL requirements of legal ownership or entitlement must have been met by the Entrant in his or her state or province of residence or in the state or province of the Entry’s registration. If requested by a concours official, that ownership or entitlement must be proven by presenting either the Entry’s title or registration. Dealers and professional restorers may register their personal Entries for judging; however, they, too, must be prepared to show title or registration documents, proving ownership of the Entry. The Entrant, or an immediate family member, must present the Entry for judging and answer the Judges' questions. In the historical spirit of Concours d’Elegance, Entrants must refrain from registering Entries solely for economic or commercial gain. “For Sale” signs will not be allowed. At the discretion of the host club, Jaguar dealers and professional restorers may be encouraged to present new, rare, or historically significant Entries and register them for Display Only Division. Display Only Jaguars shall not be judged as part of the JCNA competition. Delegates from Jaguar Clubs Nationwide Convene at the Restored Union Station It is important that concours entrants be aware of this rather lengthy quoted so that they come prepared with proof of ownership. Original Equipment Tires and Wheels. A 21-page listing of the original equipment wheels and tires has been compiled as Appendix B in the JCNA Concours Rule Book. This very detailed account will assist owners and judges in their concours preparations. JCNA Resource Desk A written proposal was brought forward to establish an authoritative, readily-available resource describing Jaguar cars, parts and procedures. This proposal, when fully implemented, will make available: a set of judging documents for use in concours judging; a technical reference desk and HOTLINE to answer questions; realtime telephone support the Chief Judges to resolve disputes on concours day; technical information for shops and restorers; and a listing of vendors with rare parts availability. This ambitious effort is needed to overcome the shortcomings of misinformation in the “blogoshpere,” and to provide members and clubs with timely, comprehensive and authoritative information. Coming JCNA Events. Planning is underway to conduct the 2011 Challenge Championship near Columbus, Ohio July 6 – 9 sponsored by the Jaguar Association of Central Ohio. Also in 2011, our neighboring Virginia Jaguar Club will host the AGM at a site near Richmond, VA on March 25- 27. The year 2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the XKE model, and the sponsors of each of those events are interested in displaying as many of the early E-type Jaguars as member clubs can assemble.
