Welcome to a New Season of <strong>Skating</strong>!<br />
Welcome back to all returning skaters and welcome to our<br />
new skaters for the <strong>2010</strong>/2011 skating season!<br />
NEW!<br />
<strong>Club</strong> Jackets<br />
<strong>Club</strong> Jackets are available this year. Youth jackets are<br />
$63.00 and Adult jackets are $67.80, tax included.<br />
Orders will be taken on <strong>October</strong> 18, 19 and 20 th and sample<br />
jackets will be on hand.<br />
Pizza Night<br />
Pizza Night will be on the Tuesday <strong>October</strong> 26 th .<br />
Canskate skaters will be serves @ 6:30 and the Canskate<br />
Advanced skaters will be served @ 6:00. The cost for a<br />
large slice of Pizza Nova pizza, cheese or pepperoni, plus a<br />
bottle of water or a drinking box will be $3.00. Forms have<br />
been given out but more forms can be found at the skating<br />
office. ORDERS MUST BE IN BY TUESDAY OCTOBER<br />
19TH.<br />

PARENT VOLUNTEERS:<br />
<strong>Peterborough</strong> <strong>Skating</strong> <strong>Club</strong> is a<br />
volunteer based, not-for profit<br />
organization. All of our Board<br />
members are volunteers. If you<br />
have an hour or two a month to<br />
help out, consider becoming part of<br />
our Board. There are always tasks<br />
where we could use extra help, give<br />
it some thought!<br />
Fundraising<br />
Fundraising booklet stubs are to be returned to the <strong>Figure</strong><br />
<strong>Skating</strong> Office by January 18, 2011 or sooner. Thank you to<br />
those that have already submitted them. If you would like<br />
more books to sell, some are still available.

CANSKATE SKATERS:<br />
The Halloween session for our Tuesday's skaters is Tuesday<br />
<strong>October</strong> 26, <strong>2010</strong> from 5:30 to 6:30pm. Skaters may wear<br />
costumes and face paint.<br />
This is also our first Pizza Night!<br />
The Halloween session for our Sunday skaters is Sunday<br />
<strong>October</strong> 31st from 1:00 to 2:30. Skaters may wear costumes and<br />
face paint.<br />
Fitness Badge 1 Day is November 16th and the skaters will go<br />
through a series of activities on ice.<br />
CANSKATE ADVANCED SKATERS:<br />
Tuesday <strong>October</strong> 26th theme is Spooky Tuesday from 6:45 to<br />
8:00pm for the skaters on this session. This is also our first<br />
Pizza Night!<br />
Feel the Beat-Create the Feet theme is Tuesday November<br />
16th.<br />
INTERMEDIATE AND SENIORS SKATERS:<br />
Test day is scheduled for Sunday November 14th from 1:00 to<br />
5:00pm.<br />
Note: For those of you who are Program Assistants, you will be<br />
getting your pizza FREE on Tuesday <strong>October</strong> 26th, as a special<br />
volunteer "thank-you". Please confirm your pizza order at the<br />
skating office.<br />
SYNCRO TEAM SKATERS UPDATE:<br />
There will be a "Spirit Skate" for all Syncro Teams on December<br />
5th @ 7:00pm. All are welcome to come and watch!
