the Garden Path
My work in the health-field shows me
daily how out of touch with the natural
cycles of life most people are. My sculpture
provides an opportunity to contemplate
themes of balance; death and rebirth;
growth and decline.
The five identical sculptures represent the
equal status of each phase of the
lifecycle/season; without one the other
cannot be. By arranging them in the form
of the pentagram/circle their interconnectedness
is made tangible.
