Management major provides you with all the required

Professional designation (CHRP). The curriculum is designed

COMMERCE
BRIDGE PROGRAM
The Commerce Bridge program provides you with two
opportunities to apply the diploma or degree you have
previously earned toward a BCom (Hons) degree at UOIT.
The direct entry option is available for three-year Ontario
college business diploma graduates in Accounting, Marketing,
Human Resources, Finance or Operations with a minimum
B average. Students under the direct entry option will flow
directly into the third year of study in the BCom program.
Students with a two-year Ontario college business diploma
with a minimum B average are granted specific 45 credit hour
course transfer towards a BCom degree with the option of
completing five bridging courses, upon completion of which
they would proceed to the third year of study at UOIT with
specific 60 credit hour course transfer.
The Commerce Bridge is available for students with an
Ontario college diploma in a non-business area or a
university degree, with a minimum B average. Students are
required to complete the five prescribed bridging courses
and can do so in as little as one semester. Upon successful
completion of these courses, students can apply directly to
the third year of the BCom (Hons) degree program.
Bridge completion requirements:
• Business Math II;
• Critical Thinking and Ethics;
• Finance I;
• Financial Accounting; and
• Organizational Behaviour.
