2012-2013 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS<br />
<strong>UOIT</strong> expects students applying for admission to undergraduate FBIT programs to present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School<br />
Diploma (OSSD) (or equivalent) with a minimum of six 4U or 4M credits, including:<br />

applicants can apply to up to three programs at <strong>UOIT</strong> for a<br />

Program OUAC Code Admission Requirements<br />
Commerce DBC Six 4U or 4M credits, including ENG4U (minimum English grade of 60 per cent)<br />
and one of MHF4U, MCV4U or MDM4U (minimum math grade of 60 per cent).<br />
Commerce Bridge DBB A minimum of any two-year college diploma with a minimum 75 per cent average<br />
(or corresponding letter grade) or a three-year university degree with a minimum<br />
70 per cent average (or corresponding letter grade).<br />

– Game Development Specialization<br />
DGB<br />
A two- or three-year diploma in Game Development or related program with a<br />
minimum average of 80 per cent (or corresponding letter grade). Graduates<br />
of diploma programs in other disciplines should contact <strong>UOIT</strong> to determine<br />
admissions eligibility.<br />
The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year-to-year. Student selection is determined through<br />
consideration of a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken and performance in subjects<br />
relevant to the academic program. Possession of minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be<br />
given to applicants with the best qualifications.<br />
