We understand that your <strong>wedding</strong> is the most important day of your life. Our years of experience,<br />

attention to detail, personal service and not least the ability to listen to your ideas will ensure that<br />

you have the day you’ve always dreamed of.<br />

The <strong>Hotel</strong> is licenced for intimate ceremonies allowing you to enjoy both the formalities and reception<br />

in style. The Broughton Room, <strong>Wroxton</strong> Room and Restaurant 1649 provide the ideal backdrop for<br />

<strong>wedding</strong> breakfasts for up to 90 guests and evening receptions up to 120. For larger numbers we can<br />

offer a bespoke marquee service.<br />

In our <strong>brochure</strong> you will find the answers to many of your questions but we would prefer to meet you<br />

personally to discuss your requirements in detail and to assure you that BEST WESTERN PLUS <strong>Wroxton</strong><br />

<strong>House</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> is the perfect venue for your <strong>wedding</strong> Day.


Civil Wedding Ceremonies<br />

<strong>Best</strong> <strong>Western</strong> Plus <strong>Wroxton</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> has two rooms licenced for civil ceremonies to be conducted on the<br />

premises, these are as follows:<br />

Broughton Room 90 guests <strong>Wroxton</strong> Room 45 guests<br />

Therefore, you now have an alternative to Church or Registry Office along with the personal and attentive service one<br />

would expect on such an important day. You may choose the room you prefer and the one most suited to the numbers invited.<br />

The room hire charge for the ceremony in The Broughton Room is £375.00 and The <strong>Wroxton</strong> Room is £275.00 which<br />

includes a floral arrangement in your chosen colours. Should you wish to hire a room for your Ceremony only without<br />

the Reception, the room hire charge would be £695.00 in The Broughton Room and £495.00 in The <strong>Wroxton</strong> Room.<br />

The above rates do not include the arrangements for the Registrar and their fees which you must make direct with<br />

Oxfordshire Registration Service on 08451 295900.<br />

If you are looking for a quintessential country house for an intimate, relaxed atmosphere or a sophisticated house party,<br />

taking exclusive use of <strong>Best</strong> <strong>Western</strong> Plus <strong>Wroxton</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> ensures complete privacy and flexibility for you<br />

and your guests on the day.<br />

You may want to consider asking your guests to pay £120.00 per couple for the cost of their accommodation<br />

on the Wedding Day in order to make exclusive use a more viable option.

Terms & Conditions<br />

All bookings at <strong>Best</strong> <strong>Western</strong> Plus <strong>Wroxton</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> are accepted subject<br />

to the terms and conditions set out below unless alterations are in writing.<br />

1. General / Numbers<br />

a. Should you require a day reception only your event room should be vacated by<br />

6.00pm. Alternatively, you may continue your celebrations into the evening with<br />

the following stipulations:<br />

i) If you choose an evening buffet in addition to the day reception a room hire charge<br />

is not applicable.<br />

ii) If you choose not to cater for your guests in the evening there will be a £500.00<br />

room hire charge.<br />

b. A drinks package must be chosen for all guests attending the day reception.<br />

c. We do not offer a corkage facility.<br />

d. In addition to the day reception an evening buffet can be selected catering for no<br />

less than 80% of the hotel evening guests attending.<br />

e. Final numbers must be advised 48 hours prior to the Wedding and this number or the<br />

number attending on the day, whichever is the higher, will be used for invoicing purposes.<br />

2. Booking Confirmation<br />

Provisional bookings will be held for 2 weeks only, after which a deposit of £500.00<br />

and a letter of confirmation is required. A further £500.00 is required two months later.<br />

Deposits are not transferable or refundable.<br />

3. Prices<br />

Following detailed discussion and our understanding of your arrangements, the agreed prices<br />

will be confirmed in writing. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%, if the general rate<br />

of VAT is altered, our prices will be modified accordingly<br />

4. Settlement of the Account<br />

The final bill is to be settled 2 weeks prior to the Wedding based on the numbers given.<br />

Any extras are to be settled on departure. It is agreed that any food, drinks or services not<br />

mentioned in the contract but asked for at the hotel will be paid for when the bill is presented.<br />

5. Insurance<br />

We strongly recommend that you take out Wedding insurance. This should cover you<br />

in the event of cancellation but please check terms and conditions with your broker.<br />

6. Accommodation<br />

A special Wedding tariff is available for any of your guests wishing to stay the night. A minimum of 10<br />

rooms must be taken when an evening reception is taking place at the hotel. These rooms may be<br />

booked for one or two nights, any further rooms required must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights.<br />

All rooms must be booked directly with the hotel by the individual guest and a deposit will be taken<br />

at the time of booking. Normal booking conditions apply. Exclusive use Weddings must take 12<br />

rooms the night prior to the Wedding.<br />

7. Cancellation Policy<br />

The following scale of charges will be made:<br />

Cancellation 90 days prior to the event - 50% of the estimated total invoice.<br />

Cancellation 30 days prior to the event - 75% of the estimated total invoice.<br />

Cancellation 1 week prior to the event - 100% of the estimated total invoice.
