To raise the level of public awareness
of its various programs/projects and services,
DOLE Region 6 intensified the conduct
of information campaign through the
regular dissemination/publication of press
releases and good news to the tri-media and
the Labor Communications Office, press
conference/briefing on office’s accomplishments
and activities, development and maintenance
of field and regional offices’ Facebook
accounts, upgrading and maintenance
of existing regional website and regular appearance
in radio and TV.
RD Ligutom promotes Labor Day and the 79th Founding
Anniversary Job Fairs.
The media as partner of DOLE in its information campaign
activities.
Financial Management
DOLE-Region 6 obtained a 99.41%
utilization rate on both regular appropriation
on the current year funding and continuing
appropriation for general fund. On the other
hand, it obtained a 100% utilization rate
on total continuing appropriation and
98.13% on current appropriation for interfund
transfer. Overall, the total utilization
rate on both regular appropriation and interfund
transfer is 99.35%.
