4. PRODUCTION<br />
Ukrainian apparel sector is repres<strong>en</strong>ted by roughly 6000 legal <strong>en</strong>tities (including private<br />
<strong>en</strong>trepr<strong>en</strong>eurs – small scale producers and individuals), producing differ<strong>en</strong>t types of textile<br />
clothing, including fur and knitted goods. The production capacities of this sector are<br />
pres<strong>en</strong>t in all regions of Ukraine. Over 99% of all legal <strong>en</strong>tities within apparel sector are in<br />
private ownership.<br />
Out of all Ukrainian producers, 351 <strong>en</strong>terprises refer to medium and big scale production<br />
<strong>en</strong>tities.<br />
Among biggest players the following companies should be m<strong>en</strong>tioned: Styl JSC, Trembita<br />
JSC, Volodarka JSC, Trottola JSC, Donbas JSC, Kyivska ShF "Zhelan" JSC, “Lvivska<br />
tekstilna kompaniya” JSC, “Podillya” JSC, "Elegant" JSC, Sofiya JSC which produce<br />
together up to 12% of all apparel made in Ukraine (for contact details, please refer to Annex<br />
2).<br />
The main bulk of Ukrainian make apparel comes from mid/small scale <strong>en</strong>tities and individual<br />
<strong>en</strong>trepr<strong>en</strong>eurs.<br />
In terms of outputs produced, there’s no distinct leader among Ukrainian producers, as<br />
none of players cover more than 2% from overall production volume, as shown on the<br />
below Diagram.<br />
