Amendment Center. The<br />
Center also sponsored a panel<br />
discussion, “The Next<br />
Frontier: Libel Invades the<br />
Internet.” Panelists were Jon<br />

Richard Labunski; <strong>and</strong> David<br />
Giles. The moderator was<br />
Judy Clabes.<br />

essay contest on the First<br />
Amendment <strong>and</strong> voting. The<br />
contest is run through the<br />
Kentucky Secretary <strong>of</strong> State’s<br />

Center steering committee<br />
served as judges, selecting<br />
one winner each from 9 th ,<br />
10 th , 11 th , <strong>and</strong> 12 th grade<br />

Wilson Alumni Symposium<br />
for Journalism focused on<br />
sports writing. The panelists<br />

presented to Jay Rayburn.<br />
Rayburn began his academic<br />
career at UK in 1975. He is<br />
the author or co-author <strong>of</strong><br />
more than a dozen publications<br />
<strong>and</strong> is the head <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Florida State University<br />
Division <strong>of</strong> Public Relations<br />
<strong>and</strong> Advertising.<br />
