to accompany <strong>the</strong> exhibition The Way That We Rhyme.<br />

Our gallery hours will be extended to 8 pm to accommodate<br />

a marathon schedule of exhibition tours, panel<br />

discussions, film screenings, workshops and interactive<br />

per<strong>for</strong>mances by <strong>the</strong> likes of such leading ladies as<br />

Vaginal Davis, MK Guth, Stephanie Syjuco and o<strong>the</strong>rs,<br />

moves on <strong>the</strong> international art scene. Join curator<br />

Elena Sorokina in a conversation with artists from Tracing<br />

Roads through Central Asia as <strong>the</strong>y share <strong>the</strong> recent<br />

success of artists from <strong>the</strong> region. Delve deeper into <strong>the</strong><br />

emerging <strong>the</strong>mes and issues around creative expression<br />

in Central Asia with artists Gulnara Kasmalieva and<br />

Muratbek Djoumaliev, who will share details about <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

practice in Bishkek; scholar Zhanara Naunuzbayeva<br />

will present her research on <strong>the</strong> history of “contemporary<br />

art” in Kazakhstan.<br />
