Ho rsem aste rs, judging teams, s kyd ivi n g,
UMC’s newest organization, the Transculture Club, was formed to
encourage interest in the customs of other countries. ABOVE members
practice a Greek folk dance.
A variety of interests call for a variety of
organizations.
UMC horsemasters held their first show this spring
with a good turnout and successful competition.
The livestock and crops judging teams participated
in national judging competition. Both teams
made impressive placing in several areas of
competition.
“Are you crazy Try skydiving!” Motivated by this
challenge, UMC organized its first parachuting club
this spring.
HSMA (hotel, Sales and Management Association)
members are involved in advertising, marketing,
banquet and convention sales in the hospitality
industry
Claudia Soderstrom, Horsemasters president, presented
the flag during the organizations first horse show.
Meeting to plan their horse show are Rae Ann Bartz, Lyle Wick, Linda
Houkom, Patty Halfman, advisor Josie Bartlett, Lori Butzin and President
Claudia Soderstrom.
