UMC’s newest organization, the Transculture Club, was formed to<br />
encourage interest in the customs of other countries. ABOVE members<br />
practice a Greek folk dance.<br />
A variety of interests call for a variety of<br />
organizations.<br />
UMC horsemasters held their first show this spring<br />
with a good turnout and successful competition.<br />
The livestock and crops judging teams participated<br />
in national judging competition. Both teams<br />
made impressive placing in several areas of<br />
competition.<br />
“Are you crazy Try skydiving!” Motivated by this<br />
challenge, UMC organized its first parachuting club<br />
this spring.<br />
HSMA (hotel, Sales and Management Association)<br />
members are involved in advertising, marketing,<br />
banquet and convention sales in the hospitality<br />
industry<br />
Claudia Soderstrom, Horsemasters president, presented<br />
the flag during the organizations first horse show.<br />
Meeting to plan their horse show are Rae Ann Bartz, Lyle Wick, Linda<br />
Houkom, Patty Halfman, advisor Josie Bartlett, Lori Butzin and President<br />
Claudia Soderstrom.<br />
