- Please ensure you have all of your belongings,<br />

valuables from safe, and passports before<br />

departing the hotel<br />

- Hand and bath towels are provided in hotels<br />

- Please do remember to allow a pre-advised<br />

additional sum to tip driver and guides. You can<br />

issue via your National Guide if you wish.<br />

- Whilst water and fruit juices and coffee are<br />

served at breakfast, only Chinese tea is served<br />

with lunch and dinner. Supplement has been<br />

pre-paid so each member will receive a soft<br />

drink with lunch and dinner.<br />

- You will be issued with group visa, of<br />

which you must carry multiple copies<br />

as you are sometimes asked to present<br />

copies at hotels and sites as well as at<br />

airport. Please note that US passport<br />

holders cannot be included on UK<br />

group visas, even if they are resident<br />

in UK.<br />

- <strong>Travel</strong>lers may now take up to 20,000<br />

RMB in and out of <strong>China</strong>. You can<br />

change travellers cheques in banks and<br />

hotels (subject to charges). We would<br />

also advise carrying cash sums of<br />

either US$ or £ sterling for shopping.<br />

Cash machines are much more widely<br />

accessible in <strong>China</strong> now, especially in<br />

bigger cities such as Beijing.<br />
