Important Information
It is the moral duty of all students to maintain academic
environment in the college. Keeping themselves disciplined,
helping maintain cleanliness, being respectful, helpful,
considerate to their fellow students is what college life is all about.
Ragging is strictly prohibited: Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has
strictly banned ragging in educational institutions. Ragging
includes disorderly conduct whether by words, spoken or written
or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating and handling
with rudeness any other student which is likely to cause hardship
or psychological harm or raise fear or apprehension in the fresher
or junior student. The authorities would expel students indulging
in such activities.
Eligibility to appear in University Exams: A student is required to
attend atleast 75% of lectures delivered in each subject offered by
her, 75% of periods assigned to practicals must be attended.
A student who remains absent for more than 7 days at a stretch
without sanctioned leave is liable to have her name struck off the
college rolls. If the student's name is struck off the college rolls,
she is required to seek re-admission (after paying admission fee
all over again.
Application for sick leave for more than 5 days will have to be
supported by a Medical Certificate from a Govt. Dispensary/ Hospital.
Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students. They are to
contact the teachers Incharge for concessions & scholarships to
make use of this facility.
An All Round Best Student Award is given to the student of the
outgoing class during the Annual Prize Giving Function.
Meritorious students should contact the Prize-Distribution
Function Incharge in order to be aware of the conditions needed
to be fulfilled for this award.
Identity cards are issued by the library. Students must get it made
whenever the notice is put up by the Librarian.

for B.P.Ed. - One Years Course
Nomenclature of the Course
Bachelor of Physical Education: (One Year Course
after Graduation).
Duration of the Course
The duration of the course for the Bachelor's Degree in Physical
Education shall be one year.
Intake of Students
50 eligible girl students shall be taken.
Eligibility Conditions for Admission to the Course.
A candidate who has passed one of the following examinations
shall be eligible to join the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.
Ed.) – A One Year Course in the University.
a. A Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of Panjab
University obtaining not
Less than 45% marks.
b. Bachelor's & Postgraduate degree in any discipline of another
University recognize by the Syndicate as equivalent to (a)
obtaining not less than 45% marks.
c. Provided that the candidate admitted under clause (a) or (b)
Qualifies in the standard Physical Efficiency Test and
participation in at least on game/sport at Inter-College level.
d. Admission Criterion: The admission to the B.P. Ed. – One Year
Course after Graduation shall be made on the basis of merit
computed by the following criterion provided she fulfils other
conditions (Academic, Sports Participation and Standard
Physical Efficiency Test) as per the rules/ regulations of the
University:
