Other Policies
CANCELLATION OF SEATS / ADMISSION
Admission of all such student who fail to attend at least 33 % of the total
lectures delivered and practicals held in all the papers during the first
10 day from the start of teaching work in the course concerned shall be
cancelled by the principal of the college on the recommendation of
H.O.D of physical education / Incharge B.P. Ed course after following
the procedure given below:
1. By the 12th day after the start of classes for a particular course,
the name of those students who fail to attend at least 33% of the
total lectures / practicals shall be put upon the Department Notice
Board. Within 4 days of the date of such Notice, a student who is
short of attendance may give in writing the reasons for her
absence from the classes.
2. If a student does not submit an application in writing within the
prescribed time as stated above, or the response given by the
student in her application are not found to be sufficient and
justified in the opinion of the office of the principal / HOD physical
Education, her admission shall be cancelled.
3. All the seats thus falling vacant shall be filled from the waiting list
or through subsequent counseling before the expiry of the last
date fixed for admission by the college / university.
When the admission of the students is cancelled as stated above, the
Department shall display on the Department notice board the list of the
person (s) next in the waiting list and make admissions accordingly.
Note: It is obligatory on the part of the student to keep in touch with the
Department for the possibility of the seats falling vacant.

SPORTS
The college provides facilities for the following games. Student on
the rolls are expected to participate in at least one of these:

All students opting for physical education as an elective subject and
participating in games must equip themselves with proper sports gear
as soon as they join college.

Facility for participation in the national cadet corps (Army Wing) is
available for the students. Students are prepared for “B” and “C”
certificate examination so that they may avail themselves of reserved
seats in the I.M.A meant for N.C.C. “C” certificate holder. We have one
unit of army wing.

N.S.S
National service schema with the motto 'Not me but you' aim at
personality devolvement through community participation. It is meant
to inculcate a sprite of co-operation and social work among the
students. The college hold various camp in the suburbs of the
Chandigarh where student interact with the village folk and the colony
residents to impact Adult Education, environment and AIDS
awareness and also to create awareness against social evils.

Each student will be assigned to a tutor who will look after her
welfare and studies.
The tutor will maintain a record of the student's conduct, health,
attendance and progress in studies as well as her participation in
co- curricular activities.
The tutor will lay stress on moral education.
Tutorial group meetings will be held on the last Saturday of
every month.
UNIFORM / DRESS CODE
Sports/ Games/ Activity Dress – As per weather track suit and T-
shirt: Maroon colour track suit and grey T-shirt.
Footwear – As per the requirement of Game/ Sports/ Activity – White
warming-up/ Running Shoes/ Football Studs, Spikes etc.
Formal dress: Theory Classes, Teaching Practice in School/
College, celebrations of National/ International Days. Departmental
Functions etc.
Summer Uniform: Grey Trousers with Maroon T-shirt.
Winter Uniform: Grey Trousers, White full Sleeve Shirt. Maroon
Blazer with Maroon Scarf.
