BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this assembly encourages our newly elected General Minister and<br />
President to reaffirm our de<strong>no</strong>mination’s focus on the 2020 vision <strong>of</strong> planting new congregations; and<br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this assembly applauds the cooperation between all General Units<br />
and Regions in their unprecedented support <strong>of</strong> new congregations; and<br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we shall continue to challenge all congregations to lift up the<br />
Pentecost Offering and its significance in starting these new faith communities; and<br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that our congregations continue to explore their call in planting new<br />
congregations throughout our country until every <strong>Disciples</strong> church is engaged in this ministry in some<br />
form; and<br />
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we show our gratitude to God for the start <strong>of</strong> these new congregations<br />
by embracing through prayer, encouragement, and inclusion those who serve as New <strong>Church</strong><br />
Planters.<br />
