BUTT PADS AND RECOIL BUFFERS For shooting comfort and control, we recommend a butt pad for the stocks, and we offer two styles. USGI-style slip-on rubber butt pads expand the butt’s surface area and make it easier and more comfortable to shoulder and fire your weapon, though they do not offer any recoil absorption. LimbSaver slip-on recoil pads feature a patented threestep recoil reduction technology that reduces up to 70% of felt recoil, and maintains target acquisition. They feature a 12 month warranty by Limbsaver. Any Mesa Tactical telescoping stock kit can be upgraded with a Crosshair hydraulic recoil buffer which replaces the receiver extension tube in our stock kits and reduces felt recoil by up to 70%. Purchase either a complete replacement M4 SOPMOD recoil buttstock assembly, or the “drop in” hydraulic buffer alone (stock nut sold separately).
