MESSAGE<br />
I am happy <strong>to</strong> release the <strong>Court</strong> News for the quarter <strong>April</strong>-<strong>June</strong>, <strong>2013</strong>.<br />
New Judgeships of Malkangiri, Deogarh and Jagatsinghpur were<br />
inaugurated during this quarter. 20 <strong>Court</strong>s of Addl. District & Sessions Judge at<br />
Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Athagarh, Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Nayagarh,<br />
Rourkela, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Aska, Koraput, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar,<br />
Jajpur, Baragarh, Dhenkanal, Berhampur and Baripada have been made functional<br />
during this period. That apart, two Family <strong>Court</strong>s at Dhenkanal and Jeypore and<br />
the court of the Senior Civil Judge at Kujanga have been inaugurated. I am sure<br />
that the new courts would definitely cater <strong>to</strong> the need of the litigant public.<br />
Elevation of three permanent Judges <strong>to</strong> the Bench of the <strong>High</strong> <strong>Court</strong><br />
during the period is definitely a remarkable addition <strong>to</strong> the justice delivery<br />
system.<br />
