This modern designed cheiroscope is made of Corian material<br />
to provide the weight to hold the equipment from moving<br />
while drawing. Can be used by right handed or left<br />
handed patients and with right or left eye viewing. 16<br />
binocular targets with suppression checks come with the<br />
Cheiroscope, as well as 36 tracing shapes. The unit also<br />
comes with accommodation compensating lenses. Demand<br />

Cheiroscopic tracings have been a mainstay of anti-suppression training<br />
from the beginning of optometric vision therapy. Suppression control<br />
is enhanced by using brightly colored pencils for tracing and by<br />
using a "rubbing" motion like that used when erasing. The patient<br />
puts a slash line at the location where the suppression has occurred.<br />
