You have already entered one of the greatest and toughest competitions for law students out there. However, do not underestimate the second
great chance the Moot gives you: meet hundreds of people, make dozens of friends and a few that might last a lifetime. We are here to make this

What is new compared to last year
(1) We changed the Moot Bar to The Habitat, having a special deal. Do not go to the Bridge Bar. Nobody will be there.
(2) The Welcome Party will be one day earlier than last year, namely on the Sunday night.
(3) We have shortened the program leading up to the Announcement of the Finalists. Please make sure that you arrive at the time indicated
below.
Do I need to book anything in advance
Some of our events require prior registration through our website www.maa.net.
These are: The Annual MAA Peter Schlechtriem CISG Conference on Saturday, and our Generations in Arbitration Conference (“GIA IV”) on
Monday. We also encourage you to pre-book the MAA Party Tram on Wednesday and the MAA Rooftop Soccer Match on Thursday.

Successfully launched in 2004, GIA stands for the unique combination of a student seminar and a workshop
for practitioners being held on an annual basis prior to the Vis Moot in Vienna. The objective is to promote
international arbitration and to bridge the gap between young students and experienced practitioners.
