Curbside Collection Reminders<br />
Place garbage, green bins, blue boxes and yard waste at the curb by<br />
7 a.m. on your scheduled day, but not earlier than 8 p.m.<br />
the night before.<br />
Maximum one (1) bag/can/item <strong>of</strong> garbage every two weeks, with up<br />
to an additional four (4) bags/containers or items may be placed out<br />
but must have a Garbage Bag Tag affixed and prominently displayed.<br />
Tags may be purchased at a cost <strong>of</strong> $1.00 each at the Civic Centre,<br />
your local library, most grocery and convenience stores. For complete<br />
list <strong>of</strong> bag tag distributors please visit our website.<br />
OOPS we may have tagged your garbage because:<br />
• It did not have the appropriate garbage tag attached<br />
• Overweight items - weight exceeds 50 lbs. (22kg)<br />
• Non-collectable material (Hazardous waste, construction/renovation waste)<br />
• Unacceptable containers (oversized)<br />
These items are NOT picked up:<br />
hazardous and biomedical waste; household paints, solvents & pesticides; syringes<br />
and needles; car parts and tires; propane tanks; and construction/demolition waste.<br />
